You've arrived, but have you?

No matter how accomplished or successful you are, self-doubt can creep in—especially as a woman in leadership. You might find yourself questioning your decisions, hesitating to speak up in important meetings, or feeling the persistent weight of imposter syndrome, even though you’ve worked tirelessly to get where you are. You’ve earned your place, yet there's that little voice in the back of your mind that makes you second-guess yourself.

Sound familiar?

This kind of self-doubt is all too common, especially for female, servant leaders. When your natural inclination is to focus on the needs of others—whether it’s your team, your clients, or your organization—you may unconsciously put your own needs, ideas, and confidence on the backburner. While this selflessness is admirable, it can also lead to moments where you question your own value and authority.

For me, it didn't show up until AFTER work. At work, I was quick and decisive. I felt like I could see the clear paths forward and lead my team down them. Unfortunately, at night, I turned into the girl in The Queen's Gambit. I would replay my decisions and the way I showed up over and over again. Did I speak up enough at that meeting? Was I too rigid or too casual? Was I protecting my people too much? Did my team miss something in the analysis?

But here’s the truth: You’ve earned your place at the table.

You have the wisdom, the experience, and the capability to make powerful decisions that not only benefit others but also align with your values and personal goals. Your leadership matters—not just because of what you give to others, but because of who you are and the unique perspective you bring to the table.

Why Do We Second-Guess Ourselves?

For many professional women, especially in leadership roles, self-doubt is deeply rooted in societal expectations. We're often told, directly or indirectly, to be more accommodating, more agreeable, and less assertive. And while you’ve defied many of these expectations by stepping into leadership, they can still show up in subtle ways. Maybe you hesitate to take a bold stance because you fear being perceived as too aggressive, or perhaps you second-guess your decisions, thinking, "Am I really qualified to make this call?"

These doubts can undermine your confidence and leadership, holding you back from fully embracing your power and voice. But what if I told you that trusting your instincts and stepping into your confidence is one of the most transformative things you can do—not just for yourself but for those you lead?

How an Alignment Coach Can Help

This is where an alignment coach comes in. As a coach, I help women like you trust their instincts and step into their confidence as leaders. We work through those deep-rooted fears and limiting beliefs that make you second-guess yourself, and we replace them with clarity, conviction, and trust in your own wisdom.

When you learn to trust yourself, you make decisions from a place of courage and confidence, not fear. You show up in meetings with a sense of certainty. You communicate with authority because you know, deep down, that your perspective matters. You no longer feel the need to second-guess your choices, because you’ve developed the self-awareness and alignment to lead with both heart and certainty.

Imagine what it would feel like to step into every situation at work—whether it's a board meeting, a challenging decision, or a tough conversation—with the conviction that your voice belongs in the room, that your insights are valuable, and that your instincts can be trusted.
