Feeling Disconnected from Your Purpose? You’re Not Alone.

For many wholehearted leaders, the path to success often comes with sacrifice. You’ve worked hard, led your team, and made a meaningful impact on others’ lives. But somewhere along the way, you may have lost sight of what lights you up. The passion that once fueled your journey now feels distant, and your work, which once filled you with purpose, may feel more like a grind.

As a leader, it’s easy to get caught up in the daily responsibilities—ensuring your team’s well-being, juggling demands at home, and managing high expectations at work. But if you’ve found yourself asking, “Where did my passion go? Why does everything feel like an uphill battle? I used to LOVE this, why don't I still?”—know this: You’re not alone.

This feeling of disconnection from your purpose is common, especially for professional women in their mid-30s to late 40s. After years of striving, pushing forward, and meeting demands, it’s only natural that the spark that once drove you may start to dim. You’ve been giving so much of yourself to your work, family, and community that you may not have realized how far away you’ve drifted from what truly excites and energizes you.

But here’s the good news: That spark is still there.

Reigniting Your Purpose

Feeling disconnected doesn’t mean your sense of purpose is gone forever—it’s simply waiting to be reignited. And that’s where working with an alignment coach can make all the difference. As an alignment coach, my role is to help you reconnect with that original sense of purpose, the one that first inspired you to lead, create, and make a meaningful impact.

This isn’t just about finding motivation again. It’s about taking the time to rediscover what genuinely excites you—what gives you energy and fulfillment, what aligns with your deepest anchors/values. Sometimes, we lose touch with these things when we’re caught up in the grind, and it takes conscious effort and reflection to reconnect with them.

Together, we’ll explore questions like:

  • What was it about your career that once inspired you?

  • What parts of your work truly light you up?

  • Where do your personal passions intersect with your professional goals?

  • How can you realign your career and life with the things that matter most to you?

For some women, it’s about shifting focus back to the aspects of work that inspire them. For others, it may be about realigning their career with personal passions or redefining what success looks like at this stage in their life. Maybe the goals that once felt important no longer resonate with who you are today, and it’s time to pivot and pursue something that feels more meaningful now.

Redefining Success on Your Terms

Many women in leadership positions reach a point where they’ve checked all the boxes of traditional success, but still feel unfulfilled. The career achievements, the accolades, and the milestones are important, but they may no longer be enough to sustain your sense of purpose.

What if success for you now looks different? What if it involves not just professional accomplishments, but a deeper alignment with who you are and what you truly desire out of life? This is the kind of inquiry we dive into through alignment coaching, helping you redefine success for this chapter of your life.

You deserve to feel inspired by your work and life. And sometimes, it takes stepping back, asking yourself the right questions, and making space for the passion to re-emerge.
